Tears of Change is a collection of poems that reflects the everyday emotions of life. Author Monteggia has penned the poems and has paired each one of them with the inspiration behind it and a quote to mirror the sentiment.

Tears of Change opens up a window to different aspects of life with the help of verses. You will find poems about a variety of topics, ranging from friendship, heartbreak, children, nature, and faith.

How did it make me feel?

My relationship with poetry is a strange one. I am a huge fan of poetry in some languages like Hindi and Urdu. I have a decent grasp of these languages and even if I can’t understand 100%, the parts that I do understand have such a great impact on me, that I’ve fallen in love with them. However, I have not been able to establish the same relationship with poetry in the English language. Not that I have read many. But I have not yet come across any such poetry collections that have a significant impact on me.

Tears of Change was a good, effortless read. It’s comforting to relate to these emotions and realize that I am not alone. I appreciate the author’s effort to gather the everyday sentiment and pour them into verses, collecting the strands of a reader’s emotions as they go. However, I did not find it deeply moving. It is perfect if you’re in the mood for a simple, straightforward, cozy, and quick collection of poems.

Let me know if you have any English poems recommendation. I’d love to explore more!
